A team of V.A.C. agents is slaughtered after failing to defeat an anomalous attacker in a hangout server. The sole survivor of the attack is the team's Soldier, who is saved by what he'd come to know as his Stand, and he helps him enact an escape plan as another threat begins taking root in the now mostly lifeless server.

This episode contains examples of:

  • Beyond the Impossible: Engineers in this universe are only allowed to build one dispenser at a time, just like in Team Fortress 2. However, one in the Lazytopia server builds multiple at a Heavy's request until they each have their fill.
  • Came Back Strong: Somehow, the V.A.C. Soldier is rescued from death by a spirit, who looks like him in uniform; he urges him to get up and fight his way out of the compromised Lazytopia. In doing so, he discovers that this spirit is not only here to protect him, but that he can control what he does, making him far more capable than he was as a regular V.A.C. agent.
  • Losing Your Head: A BLU Demoman wearing a MONOCULUS mask becomes the interest of the actual MONOCULUS, who magically forces the Demoman to behead himself with his bare hands. The head remains alive, and he's able to float around freely thanks to MONOCULUS bestowing some of its powers upon it. After some confusion, the head adopts name Acoleyet, and he wreaks havoc across Lazytopia as he tests out his newfound abilities.
  • Skyward Scream: When the V.A.C. Soldier finds himself back to life, he immediately notices that the rest of his team is dead. Distraught, he slams down his fist twice on the platform he's on before releasing a scream into the air. The scene cuts away from him as he does.
  • Stylistic Suck: The animation of Lazytropia's mercenaries is deliberately crude, matching the offbeat vibe that they exhibit. These same mercenaries are exclusively focused on during the episode's first few minutes, making the spike in animation quality when Acoleyet is born that much more impactful.
