A Heavy simply named Heavy Guy finds himself in a Halloween server, which, much to his and his teammates' chagrin, is haunted by more than the expected ghosts. Whatever is causing this issue is systematically hunting his teammates down, and it's up to Heavy to put a stop to what's happening, even if he must use his own fantastical methods.

This episode contains examples of:

  • Bittersweet Ending: Heavy Guy is unable to save his fellow mercenaries from the Masked Spy, but he does successfully avenge them after utterly obliterating the Spy in their duel. And with the Spy's defeat, the Ghost Fort server begins functioning normally again.
  • Cruel and Unusual Death: To demonstrate just what Fight the System can do to Heavy Guy, the Masked Spy revives the RED Medic and absorbs him. He does so by sucking the Medic in his entirety into his body with System, and due to the Spy disabling the respawn systems, the action permanently kills him. He takes great pleasure in inflicting this fate on his victim, too.
Masked Spy: Congratulations. You're a winner! I am not easily impressed, and yet... you, have impressed me. My Stand... Fight the System.
[The Masked Spy demonstrates his right arm, upon which a device—Fight the System—materializes upon it. He summons a cube that he plugs System into, which seems to rewrite reality and revive Stohlhand's nearby corpse as a lifeless drone.]
    Heavy Guy: Medic!
Masked Spy: This is a trick...
[He draws System and jabs it into Stohlhand's neck, siyphoning his entire being until all that remains is his hat, which the Spy stomps into the dirt. The message "Player stohlhand left the game (#ERR!LOOKUP)" displays on screen.]
Masked Spy: I can feel the blood coursing through my veins!
    [Heavy Guy glares in disgust.]
Masked Spy: Heavy... You saw my Stand! It seems I'm not the only Stand-User!
  • Curb-Stomp Battle: The second Heavy Guy reveals Crush to the Masked Spy, the battle instantly turns in Heavy's favor. He takes his time throttling the Spy and tossing him around like a ragdoll to avenge every mercenary he's killed up to this point, before finally tossing him into Ghost Fort's Hell Pit, seemingly killing him for good.
  • Gone Horribly Right: Both the main protagonist and the main antagonist of the episode act on plans that are successful, but also hurt them in some way.
    • Heavy Guy readily suspects to himself that a Stand-User is causing trouble. He opts to passively observe what's happening to determine who's responsible and how their powers work; that way, he can form a proper strategy for the inevitable fight. Eventually, he handily eliminates the threat thanks to his observations, but he was too passive in his execution of the plan; by the time he confronts them, the culprit has killed every single one of his teammates on the server.
    • During their fight, the Masked Spy does everything in his power to provoke Heavy into using his Stand, as a test of his strength. He gets exactly what he wished after trading blows and insults... and Heavy Guy uses Crush to serve his ass on a silver platter. For all his vainglorious boasting, the Spy isn't prepared for how physically powerful Heavy and Crush are when their gloves come off.
  • Invisible to Normals: In the first few moments of the Masked Spy's confrontation with Heavy Guy, he gives a demonstration of his Stand, Fight the System. It's the first Stand shown on The Scratched Universe that is explicitly called one. Then, he drops a bombshell: since Heavy Guy saw Fight the System, he must be a fellow Stand-User, and he soon tries to coerce Heavy into using his Stand. He gets exactly wants—and he's overcome with abject terror as Heavy Guy introduces Crush and quickly gains the upper hand.
  • Mundane Made Awesome: After the Pyro is killed, the Demoman casts suspicion on Heavy Guy as being the Spy responsible. In response, Heavy Guy dramatically presents his open hand, summons his Sandvich on a plate, and tosses it to the ground for other teammates to eat. It's a gameplay mechanic that disguised Spies are unable to perform, and the sight of it instantly eases the Demoman's concerns.
