The Professor leaves the girls to sort out some junk while he goes to run an errand. However Blossom goes overboard on her "system" to sepereate the piles that Bubbles and Buttercup get fed up and leave her to do the task herself. As she does so, she finds a chest in one specific pile and opens it releasing monsters into the world who seek to take it over...after they have a party. Blossom scrambles to find a way to put them back before they do so.
Tropes:
- Attention Deficit... Ooh, Shiny!: Hope comes out of the box apparently set to send the monsters back, before she sees toys like skates and the trampoline and get sidetracked.
- Brick Joke: The toy truck with no wheels that causes Bubbles to break down after she can't decide where to put it between a box where toy cars had their wheels pulled off on purpose and a box where they were pulled off on accident. Hope later finds it and wonders the same thing.
- Bystander Syndrome: Blossom tries to get Hope to help her but she too occupied to be of any help. Bubbles was only able to get the information they needed out of her by playing with her a bit.
- Chekhov's Gun: The little "When I say [Blank], You say [Blank]" chant Buttercup and Bubbles were doing when they started to clean up. They later use it to trick the monsters to say the Greek words "ta leme" (lit: See Ya Later) to send them back to the chest.
- Embarrassing Nickname: "Evil Girl" to Blossom which the monsters call her when they find out she opened the chest.
- Heel Realization: Blossom realizes her bossy ways won't always work on everyone and that she sometimes needs to relax and just do things someone else's way once in awhile.
- Hoist by His Own Petard: The girls use the monsters' partying nature against them by having them sing along in a party chant, eventually getting them to say the words that will force them back into the chest before they realize it.
- Nigh-Invulnerability: Blossom tries to attack the spirits with her powers but nothing she does can cause them harm.
- Sealed Evil in a Can: Pretty much parodying Pandora's Box with the evils trapped in the chest including...
- Sealed Good in a Can:...having Hope among the group as well.
- Seven Deadly Sins: The first few evils that come out of the box are modeled after these. Such as Pride (the one doing selfies on her phone), Gluttony (the one that eats the food from the fridge), Sloth (the one in the cardboard box) and Wrath (the one that breaks the front TV upon release).
- Shout-Out: Two of the evil spirits are designed like Daft Punk who likewise DJ the party.
- Something We Forgot: The monsters are put back into the chest but Hope still remains outside of it and rides off on a bicycle. Buttercup doesn't see any problem with it though since the world could always use more hope.
