Princess Twilight visits after hearing about the Griffon the Plumbers have, to see how she can help. Meanwhile, Adagio gains some fame after publicly declaring herself Flash Sentry's girlfriend.
- Bridal Carry: When Flash and Princess Twilight are ambushed by the paparazzi, Flash turns into Gryforce and flies away while carrying Princess Twilight bridal style.
- Clingy Jealous Girl: After Adagio officially acknowledges Flash as her boyfriend, she gets defensive when she sees him carrying Princess Twilight. She also wraps an arm around Flash and pulls him close to her while shooting Princess Twilight a smug smirk, as if to taunt her over how she is dating Flash.
- Evil Doppelgänger: Tirek presents himself as an inversion to his Equestrian counterpart at first, being a former Plumber who is interested in helping them reestablish a base on Earth and saving Flash's life from a sneak attack from the robot he was fighting. The ending scene subverts this though, revealing that Tirek created the robot himself and used it as an opportunity to get in the good graces of Flash and his friends, as well as being the creator of the Equestrian hybrids, proving he is just as evil, manipulative and power hungry as his Equestrian counterpart.
- Gold Digger: Played With and Discussed with Adagio and her relationship with Flash. After Adagio notices all the attention she gets from being associated with the alien superhero Flash, she openly declares herself to be his girlfriend, despite having never said she was previously. When Princess Twilight confronts her over this later, Adagio states she isn't using Flash just for his fame, since she dated him before he was famous and finds him fun, and the attention she gets from dating him is just a bonus.
- Hero of Another Story: Unlike Princess Twilight's other visits to the human world, Spike the dragon is not present with her this time due to having been called to the Dragon Lands by Dragon Lord Ember to help with something.
- Last-Name Basis: Similar to how she did with Sunset previously, Adagio and Princess Twilight only call each other by their last names, Dazzle and Sparkle, when greeting each other.
- Locked Out of the Loop: Shining Armor notices the awkwardness between Flash and Princess Twilight and wonders if they have any history together, unaware of the mutual crush the two of them had on each other previously.
- Mistaken for Cheating: Due to Adagio declaring herself Flash's girlfriend, the paparazzi take photos of Flash with Princess Twilight while believing he is cheating on Adagio. Adagio even notes how anytime an unrelated male and female are together the press always jump to assuming romance between them. Towards the end, Adagio takes several photos of her and Flash together with several of Flash's other female friends and uploads them online, to show that just because she is his girlfriend he can have other female friends and not be a two-timer.
- One-Steve Limit: Although Princess Twilight doesn't meet her human counterpart here, in order to avoid confusion and to allow everyone to distinguish who they are referring to, she allows everyone to simply call her "Princess".
- Ship Tease:
- Princess Twilight admits she is now in a relationship with someone else. Although she doesn't name who it is she confirms it isn't the Equestria version of Timber Spruce. Though it is implied it could be Flash's Equestrian counterpart.
- Princess Twilight notes that Dragon Lord Ember has been asking for Spike's help a lot lately, to the point she finds it a bit strange, perhaps hinting at a Secret Relationship between the two.
- The Unreveal: Though Princess Twilight tells Flash and Adagio she is in a relationship with somepony herself now, when Adagio asks if she is jealous of her and Flash dating, the topic is changed before she can say who she is with. All she confirms is that it isn't with Timber Spruce's counterpart, since she has no idea who that is.
