Max Winter: Look, despite all the attitude, Miranda's shy. Lonely, even. Sometimes she needs a little push.
Carmen Lorenzo: Are all men born stupid or is it just you?
Max Winter: I can see no good way to answer that question.
Max, Miranda, Inés and Carmen are at an opera performance in some caves. After the show, the male star is found dead, stabbed in the back. Initially it seems like everybody loved him and nobody had any motive to want him dead, apart from a sacked drummer with an alibi for the time of the murder. A suicide victim is linked to the case as she is revealed to have worked at the opera house. Later, a casual comment by Carmen helps Miranda see the truth, leading to an unexpected series of on-stage confessions.
