Mama Binturong tries to sneak into the tree of life by posing as an injured old lady. However, Ono feels suspicious of her and tries to figure out if she is who she says she is

  • Antagonist Title: The title for this episode comes from the alias Mama Binturong gives herself in order to infiltrate the Tree of Life.
  • Borrowed Catchphrase: Once Mama Binturong is forced to retreat, Bunga explains that she's a Binturong instead of a "Ginterbong" before saying "Common knowledge, really", which is what Ono usually says.
  • Explain, Explain... Oh, Crap!: Ono when he figures out who "Ginterbong" actually is.
  • Failed a Spot Check: Mama Binturong clearly didn't check to see if any of the Lion Guard were around while not feigning injury.
  • I Never Told You My Name: Mama Binturong blows her cover when she says Chuluun's name, which she wouldn’t have known unless she was working with her.
  • Nice Job Fixing It, Villain: Mama Binturong saying Chuluun's name is what allows Ono to figure out who she is, and allows the Lion Guard to prevent her and Makucha's schemes.
  • Wounded Gazelle Gambit: Mama Binturong tries this on the Lion Guard by posing as an injured old lady. It works for the most part, until Ono sees through her deception.
