- Acronym Confusion: Blanche's (second) middle name is Elizabeth, and she keeps a journal with her initials on the cover. Her initials spell BED, and the girls mistake it for a logbook of men she's slept with.
- I'm Going to Disney World!: Spoken by Sophia, although she goes with the "Disneyland" version (which is strange, since Disneyland is in California and the Girls live within driving distance of Disney World).
- Shout-Out: The first episode of the final season of another celebrated sitcom, M*A*S*H, was also titled "Hey, Look Me Over". In both cases, the cast and crew knew going in that it would be the final season.
