Both sides take stock after the battle with the Pella.
Tropes:
- An Arm and a Leg: Josep has his arm crushed by a crate, and Michio has to amputate it because they have neither the time or resources to do any better. He's seen being treated with biogel afterwards.
- Armor-Piercing Question: When Holden refuses to justify why he spared Marco to Amos, Amos asks if he's angry because Amos found out, or because he can't offer a good explanation.
- Badass Boast: Drummer's speech to Marco, broadcasted across Sol System, accusing him of treason and cowardice, and bragging about how she's stolen his supplies.
- Hidden Depths: Drummer and Josep believed that Michio is too soft to endure war but when rescuing Josep, she reveals that she has the ability to make hard decisions even Drummer is reluctant to consider.
- Internal Reveal: Amos and Clarissa discover that Holden disarmed the torpedo shot at the Pella, and he later admits it to Naomi as well.
- Shout-Out: Drummer almost directly quotes the words of House Martell while calling out Marco.
- What the Hell, Hero?: Amos and Naomi call out Holden for sparing the Pella, Amos because they missed a chance to kill Marco and Naomi because she feels his reluctance to kill Filip for her sake puts Marco's future crimes on her.
- You Have Failed Me: Marco has the captain and the XO of the Lauber spaced due to their failures in the battle against the Rocinante. He would have the captain of the Granicus spaced too, but Rosenfeld talked him out of it.
