Go To

Original Air Date (UK): Feb 28, 1995

An Urpney rocket lands on top of a huge spaceship belonging to a travelling Noop Dreammaker called Hod. Rufus and Amberley had to help with his problems.

Tropes featured in the episode:

  • Amusing Injuries: The Urpneys expectedly, though also a rare case the Noops undergo a slapstick injury, complete with Circling Birdies.
  • Apologizes a Lot: Hod is quite guilt ridden for sucking up Rufus and Amberley with his machine, even when they clearly aren't bothered by it.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: Hod attempts this against the Urpneys when they ambush him, even becoming quite antsy, he still gets quickly overpowered however.
  • Big "WHAT?!": Startlingly done by Hod. Gary Martin almost slips into his Zordrak voice after Blob gives the order to tie Hod up.
  • Bound and Gagged: Hod by the Urpneys.
  • Call-Back: The episode references the Noops listing dream ideas in "The Dream Beam Invasion".
  • Cornered Rattlesnake: Two way example, both the Urpneys and Hod are meek before threats, until Blob gives the order to tie Hod up. Realising Hod is going to fight back, Frizz and Nug tackle him.
  • Disney Acid Sequence: Hod's mish-mashed dream, possibly the most evident case in the show.
  • The Easy Way or the Hard Way: The Noops give the captured Urpneys this ultimatum. They can either float back to Viltheed or they can pop the bubble while it's high in the air. Gestures between the Noops imply the latter is Ineffectual Death Threats.
  • Space Whale Aesop: The narration gives one concerning the Urpneys' antics:
Narrator: This was a bit of a mistake really, dear viewer. Because it's not necessarily a good idea to go around opening doors on other people's spaceships without their permission. You could quite easily and unexpectedly find yourself mixed up with all sorts of leftover dream bits, landscapes for example, that other people didn't want or didn't like, and you never know where you might end up. But then, Urpneys never learn...
