Wicky has brought the wrong key for his next job and finds himself stuck outside the deceased's house, waiting around for a replacement. When he encounters the wheelchair user next door, who is apparently a radical vegan, the confident carnivore in Wicky might have met his match.
Tropes:
- Ambiguous Ending: We don't find out if Helena and her ex actually got back together.
- Binge Montage: A quick one occurs when Helena and Wicky share a spliff.
- Cringe Comedy: Wicky means well, but when confronted with a wheelchair user he has a tendency to say and do the wrong things.
- Drunk Driver: The reason why Helena's in a wheelchair. Turns out, she was the drunk driver.
- Hypocrite: Vegan Helena, who dumped her boyfriend for eating meat behind her back and refuses to let Wicky bring his lunchbox into her house because it contains a ham sandwich, is happy to allow her mum in with a beef hotpot. Which she eats, although she claims she tried to eat as few of the meaty bits as possible.
- Meat Versus Veggies: Wicky enjoys eating meat. Helena does not and has previously split with her boyfriend because of this. A compromise is eventually reached.
- The Power of Love: After realising that Helena still loves her ex, Wicky encourages her to go to him and get back together. And also promises that he will go vegan once a week in order to compensate for the soon-to-be-rehabilitated boyfriend's occasional meat-binges.
- Straw Vegetarian: Helena's a fairly mild example, in that she'll eat her mum's beef hotpot — but only so as not to hurt her feelings.
- Super Wheelchair: Downplayed example: Helena's wheelchair includes a little compartment in which she stores ready-rolled spliffs.
- Wheelchair Antics: Wicky is persuaded to use Helena's spare wheelchair for a race to the burger van so they can get vegan hot dogs. She, being the more experienced wheelchair user, easily wins. Wicky actually has to get pushed for part of the way by an elderly passer-by, who later berates him when she sees him standing up, resulting in Wicky pushing her around in the wheelchair.
