Tropes for "Skatey Cat":

  • Circling Birdies: Ronnie Anne gets this twice. The first time, it's circling mini-Sergios, and the next, it's circling pineapples.
  • Company Cross References: During a shopping spree at Hi 'N' Buy, Casey, Sameer, and Nikki jump over a cabbage stand, knocking over a few cabbages and causing a nearby employee to shriek, "MY CABBAGES!", alluding to a Running Gag from fellow Nickelodeon cartoon Avatar: The Last Airbender.
  • Face Your Fears: Ronnie Anne's arc in this episode.
  • Get Out!: Ronnie Anne when she catches Vito and several animals watching her accident.
  • In a World…: Parodied by Sergio when he shows Vito and several animals footage of Ronnie Anne's accident.
Sergio: In a world filled with gravity, one girl will have an epic fail!
  • Instant Humiliation: Just Add YouTube!: While he doesn't post it on social media, Sergio films Ronnie Anne's accident and shows the footage to anyone nearby.
  • Mythology Gag: At the end of the episode, Lincoln has taken to wearing a purple polo. This effectively makes him a human version of his rabbit prototype design, Warren (and by extension, Bun-Bun), who also had a purple polo.

Tropes for "Weather Beaten":

  • Bird-Poop Gag: Ronnie Anne, CJ, and Carl regard the apartment roof as "an airport for pigeon poop." Then, we actually see the pigeons preparing to poop on the roof. Mercifully, we don't actually see the pooping itself.
  • Gross-Up Close-Up: At the end of their day with Tlaloc, we see Carl's hand which has sunburn and frostbite!
  • Nature Is Not a Toy: Ronnie Anne, Carl, CJ, and Carlitos learn this the hard way when they mess with the weather using Tlaloc.
  • Running Gag: Carlota seeing the weather changing and trying on more seasonal clothes, only to find that the weather has changed again.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Jim Sparkletooth decides to go on vacation as the weather goes out of control.
