At their meeting, Oleg tells Philip more about why he's there, and Philip tells Oleg what he's learned about what Elizabeth is doing. Oleg tells Philip they can't meet in person any more, and they should just pass messages to each other. Oleg calls his father, Igor, who passes the message along, but tells Arkady he wants his son home.
Elizabeth isn't able to get the lithium sensor, and has to kill three security guards to escape. She tells Claudia about this, and she tells Elizabeth about Gennadi defecting, asking her to kill him. She follows Stan to try and find Gennadi, and has her helpers follow him as well. Elizabeth also continues to pose as a nurse with Erica, who tries to get her to draw. Elizabeth and Glenn convince Erica to accompany them when he goes over to meet with Nesterenko at a house where other negotiators are watching the World Series. However, Erica gets sick, and Glenn has to take her home.
Aderholt tells Stan they haven't been able to follow Oleg, as they're stretched pretty thin, but he wants Stan to keep meeting with Gennadi and Sofia until they're relocated. Stan protests that he's tired of meeting with them, but Oleg tells him they will listen to him.
Elsewhere, Paige goes out with, and has sex with, a Congressman's aide (despite Elizabeth warning her not to), Philip tells a dejected Henry he may not be able to pay for Henry's last year at St. Edward's (he also talks about this with Stan later), and he goes to Kimmy's house to get a tape.

- Continuity Nod: When Philip goes out line dancing with the staff again, he's wearing the same boots he bought with Paige when he took her out shopping. Also, the song playing at the bar is Eddie Rabbitt's "Drivin' my Life Away", which is the same song Philip sang to Henry when they were buying his Camaro.
- Oleg talks to Philip about his time working at the Rezidentura.
- Flashback: Near the end of the episode, when Philip is going over the agency's finances, he remembers how when he was a kid, he had to scrape food off of food stuck to pans in order to eat.
- Foreshadowing: On the tape Philip gets from Kimmy's house, it mentions how Kimmy will be going to Greece, which becomes important in a future episode.
- Elizabeth stares at one of Erica's paintings, which will also become important later.
- Spy Speak: When Oleg calls Igor, they talk about Oleg's family first (and Igor tells Oleg everyone is fine), after which Oleg gives him a coded message for Igor to give to Arkady.
- Title Drop: Aderholt refers to Gennadi and Sofia by their code names, "Mr. and Mrs. Teacup", when discussing them with Stan.
- Vomit Indiscretion Shot: At the World Series party, Erica gets sick and vomits all over the floor.
- Your Approval Fills Me with Shame: A variation; when Igor angrily protests to Arkady on the mission Oleg's doing (especially since it's making Oleg's wife stressed), Arkady replies that Oleg wanted to do the mission because he wanted to make a difference, and be just like his father in that respect. Igor is not happy about this.
