Distracted with interrogating Uli, Puss has accidentally agreed to race for both Artepius and the Orphans in the annual San Lorenzo horse race. Deciding the only thing to do is clone himself so he can race for both teams at once, but "Puss Dos" is less than capable.
Tropes:
- Breather Episode: Although he does get some information about the Bloodwolf, most of the episode is spent on a horse race.
- Evil Twin: Pajuna warns that the clone may turn out evil. Fortunately, Puss Dos is merely naïve and silly.
- Exact Words: It's specifically a Horse Race. When Puss Dos falls of his horse, Puss Uno bails out as well thinking this will cause the race to be forefit, but Puss Dos' horse crosses the finish line first and is declared the winner.
- Reverse Psychology: When Pajuna gives up trying to get Uli to stop playing music makes him stop playing music, she then mercilessly exploits reverse psychology to get him to set up the entire horse race banquet.
- Tampering with Food and Drink: Upon realizing that Pajuna had tricked him into making the entire banquet, Uli decides to have his revenge by poisoning the paella. However, what he thought was poison was really pepper, so all he did was make it taste better.
- Two-Timer Date: Puss is too busy interrogating Uli to realize that he agreed to be the rider for both horses on the race. He rejects Dulcinea's suggestion of apologizing, as he will not admit to making a mistake.
