Old Friends Reunite

Puss has begun to settle into a routine in San Lorenzo, and Dulcinea worries that he may become bored and leave the town as a result. Meanwhile, Puss' old friend Jack Sprat has come to town with the promise of adventure and a princess to rescue.
Tropes:
- Body Language: Artephius notes that despite Dulcinea stating she doesn't hate Jack, she nods every time she says "no".
- Dirty Coward: Jack doesn't even have a real sword and relies on Puss to take on any threat as he just goes and steals the treasure.
- The Friend Nobody Likes: Jack is only liked by Puss, where as everyone including Dulcinea can't stand him.
- Good Cannot Comprehend Evil: Dulcinea is so kind and all loving that before meeting Jack literally had no idea what disliking someone feels like. She has to be told that the strange urge she has to "curl her hand into a ball and put it into his face very fast, over and over" means she doesn't like Jack. Later, after her Rage Breaking Point, she checks with Puss to make sure she got "yelling" right.
- Joke Item: Jack's sword, just a flimsy twig with a handle.
- Lost in Character: Artephius clearly gets too into his role as the Evil Wizard.
- Luring in Prey: The "princess" turns out to be a anglerfish-like princess-shaped lure on a monster.
- Rage Breaking Point: It tells you how bad Jack is when DULCINEA of all people explodes at Jack for being a False Friend to Puss and scares the unstoppable monster out of town.
- Sealed Evil in a Can: Puss traps the monster in a sealing staff, though Artephius breaks it.
- Victory Is Boring: The plot of the episode is the fact that Puss feels bored just dealing with the ordinary bandits, to the point he now just sees them as exercise, alternating hands or even reading a book with his back turned towards them. So Dulcinea and the orphans set up an "adventure" for him to cheer him up.
