Volume 11 Bonus Chapter: My First Cuuute and My First Minstrel
The Kedarui parents are gushing over their infant daughter, calling her "cute" over and over. Ahko starts to open her mouth and they realize she's about to say her first word. They debate over whether or not she's trying to say "Mommy" or "Daddy", but Ahko grabs a nearby stuffed animal and says "Kyuuute", which her parents naturally find adorable.
The next panel reveals that Ahko is telling the story to Rentarou's family. She decides that "cute" became her first word because cuteness is inherent to her being, but Kurumi speculates that it's because she heard the word so much.
Hahari says that Hakari's were "I wuv Mommy", though a brief flashback reveals that Hahari made sure of that. Naddy asks Yaku was Kusuri's first word was, and Yaku remembers that it was her name. It might have also been that she was saying "drugs".
Kishika asks Uto about her first words. In a flashback, her parents note that she really likes The Moomins, particularly Snufkin. They take further note of her preferences. She starts playing with an ocarina that her father brought back as a souvenir, then says not only her first words, but even speaks in full sentences, inspiring her parents to call her Uto.
In the present day, she is called out as lying, but she insists that it's the truth. Yamame believes her, but Mimimi suggests that she learn to doubt Uto's words.
