Recap / Teen Titans Go S 4 E 47 Beast Girl

Go To

Beast Boy is embarrassed after mistaking his reflection for an intruder, until the Titans are called in to deal with an evil version of Robin, who turns out to be Madame Rouge. Then, to complicate matters, a girl version of Beast Boy shows up at the Tower while they're trying to figure out how to defeat their current foe.

  • Cloudcuckoolander: Upon learning of the female shapeshifter named Madame Rouge, Beast Girl briefly thinks that she might actually be the villain herself due to her transformation powers, being a girl, an astrology chart saying she'll experience change, and her love of perogies. The Teen Titans comment how that last point is completely nonsensical.
  • He Was Right There All Along: After the brief incident of Beast Girl thinking she might be Madame Rouge and attacking the Titans in their tower, the actual Madame Rouge turns out to have been hiding as the couch in their main room.
  • Identical Stranger: Beast Boy and Beast Girl talk identically, have identical backstories and superpowers, are both afraid of their reflections, and even have similar groups of friends that are the opposite gender of their counterparts. It's entirely coincidental.
  • Opposite-Sex Clone: The only difference between Beast Boy and Beast Girl (and later, the other Teen Titans with Beast Girl's friends the Titan Teens) is their genders.
  • Something Only They Would Say: The other Titans are able to tell the real Robin from the fake only after they beat up the wrong one first, and recognize the distinct way that Robin cries in pain.
