Strong Bad: I am going to check my email.
Ben wants to have "the bestest Halloween costume this year", and asks for tips on making a Strong Bad costume.
Strong Bad: Well Ben, I couldn't agree with you more. You dress up like me this year and the ladies will flock to you like the Poopsmith to an overflowing toilet. But I digress, onto the costume!
Strong Bad gives some instructions while Homestar models:
- Paint your head red.
- Take off your shirt, to expose your manly chest.
- Get some boxing gloves, or oven mitts if you can't find any.
- Duct-tape some aluminum foil to some twine.
- Get your mom to make you a Strong Bad costume.
Strong Bad: You'll be the belle of the ball.
Homestar: I'm a bell!
Tropes
- Censored for Comedy: When Homestar's shirt is removed, a censor box pixellates his entire torso.
- Naked People Are Funny: Homestar's entire torso has to be censored when he takes his "shirt" off.
- Ooh, Me Accent's Slipping: When Strong Bad says "you freakin' weirdo" at the end of the email, he uses his current voice, without the Hispanic accent, which he uses in full for the first time in the next email, brianrietta.
- Paper-Thin Disguise: Strong Bad's instructions to make the costume result in Homestar barely resembling Strong Bad, if you tilt your head and squint. Strong Bad himself implicitly acknowledges this, as his final step is to give up and ask your mom to make you a Strong Bad costume.
- Toilet Humor: Strong Bad assures Ben that if he dresses like Strong Bad for Halloween, "the ladies will flock to you like the Poopsmith to an overflowing toilet."
- You Put the "X" in "XY": Strong Bad ends his email with "Who put the 'ween' in Halloween? I dunno, probably you, you freakin' weirdo!"
