Strong Bad: (to the tune of The Cheat's theme song) Who's that giving Strong Bad a hand? Email! Email!
Dan asks Strong Bad for advice on a name for his new band. Strong Bad offers a few suggestions, including:
- Naming your band after your really cool last name, like "Van Halen" or "Dokken" or... "Z'nuff".
- Take a really cool word and deliberately misspell it, like "Lazor", "Bigg Nife", "Taranchula", and "Limozeen".
Strong Bad: You know, these are all great names. And you know, go ahead and take them. I'm not going to charge you or nothing. Just, uh, put me on the guest list plus one for that show huh? I'll probably take Pom Pom. You know, he's been pretty cool lately.
- Arson, Murder, and Jaywalking: Strong Bad suggests you can name a rock band after yourself if you have a cool last name "like Van Halen, or Dokken, or to a lesser extent,... Z'Nuff
." - Early-Installment Weirdness: The music for "Limozeen" is a mellow acoustic guitar strumming, a stark contrast to the high-strung hair metal the band themselves would end up playing.
- Myspeld Rökband: Strong Bad mentions the "take a really cool word but then spell it all wrong" method of naming rock bands.
- Reality Bleed: Limozeen, Taranchula, and Bigg Nife would become actual bands (in the Homestar Runner universe, at least).
