- Anguished Declaration of Love: Just before firing, Tails yells out to Cosmo that he loves her. Cosmo in turns gives a Dying Declaration of Love as she tells Tails she'll always love him.
- By the Lights of Their Eyes: While speaking to Cosmo telepathically, Dark Oak's robotic eye is shown briefly before revealing Luke/Lucas's normal eyes in the darkness while speaking in his original voice.
- Heroic Sacrifice: Cosmo performs this to help Sonic and co. defeat Dark Oak once and for all.
- Last Villain Stand: After his plan to conquer the universe is ruined thanks to Sonic and the others, an enraged Dark Oak flies into a Suicidal Cosmic Temper Tantrum and decides to use the energy of his Final Mova to destroy the universe.
- Near-Villain Victory: If the Planet Egg hadn't responded to the Chaos Emeralds, the Metarex would have conquered the galaxy.
- Phlebotinum Overload: After firing Super Sonic and Super Shadow, the Sonic Power Cannon falls apart.
- Rivals Team Up: Sonic and Shadow turn super again. This time, they're working together to defeat Final Mova.
