With Eggman and all of Sonic's friends back on their world, they attempt to resume their regular lives. But Sonic's absence weighs heavily on all of them
This episode contains examples of:
- Battle Discretion Shot: Most of the fight between Knuckles and Rouge takes place off-screen. When Rouge lunges at Knuckles, the scene cuts away, though we can still hear her beating him up and the echidna letting out cries of pain. When we cut back to them later, he skids across the ground, with him and Rouge both exhausted and covered in dirt.
- Big Damn Heroes: Sonic finally returns to his world in his Super form and in the process dismantles a missile that is about to total Tails, then prevents Eggman from conquering the planet by destroying his ship. This forces the Mad Scientist and his two robotic minions to retreat in an Eggmobile.
- Copycat Mockery: Rouge mockingly copies Knuckles' comment of "You're just a jewel thief, so you wouldn't know." about her with a Brief Accent Imitation and suddenly gaining a red wig out of nowhere that resembles Knuckles' dreads as she says this that instantly disappears afterwards.
- Easily Forgiven: After beating each other up, Knuckles and Rouge stop fighting as soon as they see Super Sonic flying though the sky and both realize they are being childish and don't understand how time warps work after all. Knuckles starts laughing at Rouge for how "awful" she looks covered in dirt, and she responds with Friendly Tickle Torture.
- Friendly Tickle Torture: Rouge tackles Knuckles off-screen and does this to him:Knuckles: Stop! That tickles!
Rouge: Didn't I warn you to behave?
Knuckles: Alright! Alright! - Woman Scorned: Knuckles and Rouge initially talk about the possible reasons why Sonic hasn't arrived yet and how long it might take him to get here, until Knuckles makes a not-so-subtle rude comment about how Rouge wouldn't understand something as complicated as a time warp. This leads to Rouge hitting Knuckles on the head and the two arguing about his attitude towards her, with her roaring much louder at him. When he makes yet another rude comment, it escalates into a fight with Rouge kicking Knuckles and charging at him in a rage.Rouge: I'm gonna keep pounding away 'till I've got you tenderized. From now on, you're gonna respect me!
