Broken Dreams, and Renewed Strength! is the 23rd episode of Hirogaru Sky! Pretty Cure and and the 941st episode overall of Pretty Cure.
Sora returns home to Skyland in despair after the events of last episode. However, matters complicate when the Captain Shalala Ranborg strikes again, and it may take more than a few comforting words to help Sora back up on her feet.

- 10-Minute Retirement: Distraught over the events of last episode, Sora returns home to Skyland. By the end of the episode, she's back as Cure Sky.
- The Cameo: Cure Dream is in the end credits this week, somehow skipping over Cure Peach.
- Chekhov's Gun: At the end of last episode, Ageha starts to suggest using the Colorful Action Mix Pallet to save Shalala, but Sora refuses to hear it, lost in her despair. It ends up being what allows them to save her.
- Unseen No More: After being spoken about all the way back in Episode 2, Sora's brother Red finally makes an on-screen appearance.
- Unspoken Plan Guarantee: Sora decides to use a risky plan of purifying Shalala with Updraft Shining, followed by the Colorful Action Mix Pallet healing Shalala in the seconds after it's purified, with Yoyo collecting the Kira Kira energy. It barely works, with Shalala alive but incredibly weak.
- Wham Episode: With his final plan thwarted, Battamonda makes good on his promise to never threaten the Precure again and quits working for the Undurg Empire.
- You Are Better Than You Think You Are: Mashiro has Yoyo deliver a letter to Sora explaining this, saying that despite what she thinks, she already is a hero to her and to take all the time she needs to heal. This, along with Mashiro saying that she and the others will deal with the Ranborg snaps Sora out of her Heroic BSoD and regain her resolve.
