The Beginning of the End! Pretty Cure vs. the Three Generals (known as The Miracle Jewel" in the US) is the 45th episode of Smile PreCure! (37th of Glitter Force), and the 434th episode overall of Pretty Cure.
As Cures find Candy crystalized without warning, the Bad End Kingdom begins its final attack with the three Commanders forced to put their own lives on the line while revealing their motives.
Tropes:
- Bittersweet Ending: Miyuki manages to pacify the commanders and restore them to their original pixie forms, but Joker reveals that Pierrot's resurrection is about to begin as he combines the commanders' discarded darkness with the final Cure Decor to create evil doppelgangers of the Pretty Cures.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: The Hyper Commanders overpower the Precures, both individually and as a group.
- Don't You Dare Pity Me! / Hit Me, Dammit!: The Commanders' reaction to the Cures trying to reason with them.
- Evil Cannot Comprehend Good: Justifed. The Commanders could not grasp the Pretty Cures being nice to them after every battle they been through.
- Nice Job Fixing It, Villain: The Commanders revealing their motives to be the result of being outcasts in Märchenland causes the Pretty Cures to stop fighting them and instead try talking things out.
