Go To

The Cooper Gang follow Jean Bison to a deforestation camp, where he has the Clockwerk Talons.

Tropes:

  • Arc Villain: Jean Bison.
  • Cheaters Never Prosper: While the Cooper Gang manages to win each challenge by sabotaging Jean Bison, he intimidates the judges to give him perfect scores. When they try to replace the judges, he sees through their disguises and knocks all of them out and takes all of their Clockwerk parts.
  • Downer Ending: Although they defeated Jean Bison and have made their way onto Arpeggio's blimp, the talons and all of the Clockwerk parts the Cooper Gang have been stolen and given to Arpeggio himself and they lost the Van.
  • Hoist by His Own Petard: Bentley's boss battle against Jean is to command Sly to unleash all the logging machinery to attack Jean.
  • MacGuffin: The Clockwerk Talons, used as Jean Bison's own personal means of deforesting Canada.
  • Nobody Calls Me "Chicken"!: Bentley doesn't engage in battle with Bison until Bison calls him "stew-pid".
  • Oh, Crap!: Bentley's reaction to learning about Bison selling Arpeggio all the Clockwerk Parts.
  • Operation: [Blank]: "Operation: Canada Games". The Cooper Gang all join the lumberjack games where the talons are the prize. Knowing they are less experienced and physically capable than him, they intend to cheat. Murray chops in the power-log competition while Bentley sneaks the eagle-egg they stole in "Thermal Ride" into his back-pocket so that the mother eagle attacks him. Sly does the ice-wall climb while they sabotage Bison by pulling him down with grappling lines. Bentley joins the log-rolling competition while Sly greases the logs so that Jean loses.
  • Wham Episode: Jean Bison revels to Bentley that he sold all of the Clockwerk Parts to Arpeggio.
