Go To

Airdate: February 23rd, 2006

Caitlin falls for an attractive college student named Josh—however, figuring that he wouldn't want to go out with her if he knows that she's still just a high school student, Caitlin pretends to be a college student in order to get Josh to like her. The rest of the gang also gets roped into Caitlin's scheme (i.e., they also pretend to be college students).

Tropes

  • Fingore: Jen winds up hurting all of her fingers after Nikki accidentally shuts her laptop onto them because she was angry at Jude for spilling coffee on it.
  • Get A Hold Of Yourself Man: When Wyatt finds Jude in the restroom with a large number of coffee cups he was drinking from, reducing him into a quivering incoherent mess. Unable to see Jude continuing to be an unstable caffeine addict in his bid to get the cup prize, Wyatt slaps him repeatedly. He then cuts Jude off coffee by dumping the remaining cups into the sink.
  • Irony:
    • Jude spends the whole episode drinking tons of coffee just to win something from the "bottom of the cup" contest. In the end, Jonesy finds Jude's last cup and discovers that it's a winner. What's the prize? A year's supply of free coffee.
    • Caitlin spends the whole episode trying to impress Josh by pretending to be a serious college student...only for Josh to break up with her because she was acting too serious.note
  • Laser-Guided Karma: Figuring that Josh wouldn't want to go out with her if he knew that she's still in high school, Caitlin lies to him by claiming that she's a college student. After Josh ends up breaking up with her, he hooks up with Kristinnote  and it's implied that Kristin tells Josh about who Caitlin and her friends really are (i.e., they're high school students and not college students).
  • Must Have Caffeine: Jude ends up like this while trying to win a free prize. He's eventually carried away on a stretcher.
  • Skewed Priorities: The gang was understandably shocked that a woman was going into labor in one of the changing rooms at the Khaki Barn, except for Caitlin who was more shocked about the discounts the store was currently having.
  • Smart People Wear Glasses: Or so Caitlin thinks.
