Ryouma struggles to emotionally recover from being manipulated by the memory of Hyuuga, not helped when Moak tells him to forget about his brother. Meanwhile, Budoh begins his tenure as the newest commander for the Balban Pirates and promises Captain Zahab he will find the Lights of Ginga.

- Ambiguous Situation: Ryouma wonders if he actually heard Hyuuga's voice in the previous episodes battle, or if it was what he wanted to hear in his mind.
- Bait-and-Switch: At first, it seemed that Komuhachi's plan to infect all the trees worked and the Lights of Ginga appeared. But then they dissipate, with Bokku revealing it was a fake Moak created to distract the Majin.
- Boom Stick: Moak creates the Beast Attack Rods in this episode, battle rods that double as energy bazookas.
- The Cameo: Iliess and Battobas appear in the beginning of the episode to try and convince Captain Zahab to let them take over Sambash's position.
- Jerkass Realization: After being told off by Hikaru and Saya for berating Ryouma's weakness as a warrior, Moak questions if he was too harsh in his words.
- No-Sell: Komuhachi shrugs off the Gingamen's Kiba Imperial Wrath and counters it, showing how powerful the Budoh Majin Mob is compared to the Sambash Majin Gang.
- What the Hell, Hero?: Saya and Hikaru are not pleased by what Moak harshly told Ryouma, saying he has no compassion for humanity.
- You Are in Command Now: With Sambash's death in the previous episode, Budoh is made the new acting commander for the Balban Pirates thanks to promising to locate the Lights of Ginga.
