The final battle begins, the Dino Thunder Rangers must give their all to stop Mesogog and Zeltrax once and for all.

- Adaptational Context Change: The Zelzord's vacuum attack that prompts the Rangers to sacrifice the Zords after failing to defeat the Zelzord was portrayed in Abaranger (which Dino Thunder was adapted from) as Dezumozorlya's (series' main antagonist and the Zelzord's basis) last-ditch attack in its death throes and more of a way to try and get the heroes killed out of spite with its explosion (and the Bakuryuu/Zords survive there by digging underground).
- Brainwashed and Crazy: It's revealed that Elsa was a case of this all along.
- Conservation of Ninjutsu: Averted, the rangers realize that they can't beat 4 mesogogs in a direct combat, if they couldn't with one.
- Death by Adaptation: In the Bakuryuu Sentai Abaranger finale the Bakuryuu, Ryoga and Yukito have a fake-out death when Dezumozorlya (the series' main antagonist and whose design was the one used for the Zelzord) tries to take them out in its death throes with the heroes surviving by digging underground at the last second. Here the main three Zords and the Styracozord self-destruct to take out the Zelzord.
- Grand Finale: The season finale
- Last Villain Stand: After his base is destroyed and his plan to transform everyone on the planet into reptilian creatures is foiled, Mesogog appears before the rangers for a final battle and uses the energy he absorbed from the Dino Gems to take on a One-Winged Angel form. It takes all the rangers' power to destroy him once and for all.
- Not Quite Dead: Mesogog shows up for one more fight, causing the Rangers to lose their powers.
