Recap / Pleasant Goat And Big Big Wolf Episode 2

Go To

Chinese title: "狼来了 (下)" ("Lang Laile (Xia)")
English title: "The Wolves Come (Part 2)"

After Weslie fends off Wolffy, the goats must find a way to defend themselves from his further attacks, leading Mr. Slowy to reopen his laboratory. Meanwhile, Wolffy uses a chainsaw to break through the Goat Village gate.

This episode contains the following tropes:

  • Animate Inanimate Object: A flashback shows that Mr. Slowy once invented a serum that brings anything it touches to life, turning it into a strict teacher.
  • Cobweb of Disuse: The hallway of Mr. Slowy's laboratory has a few cobwebs visible in it due to not having been used for a long time.
  • Episode Title Card: This is the first episode to have one of the title card animations that would become a mainstay of the series; specifically, Weslie is watching television when Wolffy hijacks the signal and gives Weslie a funny face through it.
  • Faint in Shock: Wolnie is so scared of beaten-up Wolffy showing up at her door that she faints before quickly getting back up and closing the door.
  • Five-Episode Pilot: The second part of the two-part series premiere, this episode begins by showing Wolffy's attempt to break into Goat Village disguised as Slowy's relative from the previous episode and works from there.
  • Scary Stinging Swarm: Weslie sics a swarm of bees on Wolffy, dropping a bucket of honey on him so that the bees will be attracted to him.
  • Slower Than a Snail: Mr. Slowy is once again shown to be slower at walking than a snail is at moving, but this time he actually notices and reacts with a Sweat Drop.
  • Stern Teacher: Mr. Slowy once invented a serum that turns inanimate objects into strict teachers. The serum works too well, causing a piece of paper brought to life with it, as well as other objects that unintentionally come into contact with the serum, to become outright violent towards the goats. This incident is what caused Mr. Slowy to stop using his lab for a while.
