The night after the potty-on-head incident, Pound tells Pumpkin that they're now even. Pumpkin, still angry, tells her brother that he's lucky he's going to the doctor for a checkup tomorrow or else he might wake up with a dirty diaper on his head, but that just makes him laugh. He points out that she never uses her diapers but she says that she might make an exception just for the sake of the prank. Then, the twins go to sleep, with Pumpkin wondering who her foalsitter will be.
The next morning, the foalsitter is revealed to be Twilight. The reason why nopony Pumpkin lives with can watch her is because Mrs. Cake is taking Pound for his checkup and Mr. Cake and Pinkie Pie are shopping for flour.
At the castle, Twilight asks Pumpkin what she likes to do for fun. Pumpkin has no ideas, so Twilight starts suggesting things, then Pumpkin sees a soft toy and says, "Fluffy!", wondering why an adult pony has a soft toy. Twilight reveals that it's her Smarty Pants doll and says that she will let Pumpkin keep her if she uses her potty.
Two and a half hours later, Mrs. Cake comes back and leaves with Pumpkin, who gets to keep Smarty Pants.
