During the cultural festival at Ouran, the host club receives a visit from the Lobelia's Zuka Club. Upon learning what has been going on with Haruhi, the club president decides to have her transferred to Lobelia.
This episode provides examples of:
- I Choose to Stay: Despite everything that has happened throughout the episode, Haruhi chooses to remain at Ouran.
- Incredibly Conspicuous Drag : Thinking that it will convince her to stay, the host club (minus Mori) dresses up as women, offering to give her a chance to be with both men and women.
- No Sense of Personal Space: Benio spends most of the episode within Haruhi's personal bubble, much to her discomfort.
- Not Helping Your Case: When Haruhi is trying to defend the host club, they shoot down her arguments with the cold truth about the club. They also reveal that they sold Haruhi’s mechanical pencil without her permission, which understandably makes her angry.
- Not So Stoic: Haruhi, who's normally composed and deadpan, busts out laughing at the host club's crossdressing.
- Running Gag: Just about any time a monkey appears onscreen, a character slips on a banana peel.
- We Will Meet Again: Benio declares near the end of the episode that the Zuka Club will return to "rescue" Haruhi from the host club.
