When it becomes clear that pegasi are still struggling with flying properly, Zipp is convinced to hold a flight school to teach pegasi how to fly. However, the extreme skill difference between her and her students makes it difficult for her to teach them.

- Absurd Phobia: Windy, one of the trainee fliers, is terrified of daisies.
- Cue the Flying Pigs: At the end of the episode, Zipp says she will open a true flight academy when crabs fly. We than see Hitch's two pet birds carrying his crab McSnipsalot and helping him fly.
- Cynical Mentor: Zipp is roped into teaching some pegasi how to fly better. She is not happy about it, and has little faith in their ability to learn. Only after seeing a pegasus mother encouraging her foal (reminding her of a similar childhood moment with Queen Haven) does Zipp start to take her position more seriously.
- Fun with Acronyms: W.I.N.G.S. stands for the Wonderful Institute for No Gravity Skywalking.
- Gilligan Cut: When the others hit onto the idea of getting Zipp to run a flight school, she vehemently denies that she's ever going to do that. The scene then cuts to her unenthusiastically welcoming her first flight class at W.I.N.G.S.
- Running Gag: Hitch getting hit with fruits.
