With Zack's leg bruised and cast, Milo, Melissa and Amanda decide to throw him a party to cheer him up. Turns out all the attendees got injured the day before the party, coincidentally enough.
Tropes:
- An Aesop: In the end, Zach initially believes that the lesson is to never do anything you love because of the accidents that they can lead to, but Doof refutes this with a more reasonable explanation: don't let accidents scare you off from trying out new things you'd love to do. Bad things can happen to anyone, even when you're idling, so you might as well do something you like.
- Dumbass Has a Point: As far as dimwitted Doof can be given to his past life as an incompetent evil scientist, he correctly deduces the moral of the story is not to let accidents prevent oneself on doing something that he/she enjoys; he even lampshades this to everyone, who all agree on this.
- Disaster Dominoes: All injuries other than Zack's are the results of a same chain of events.
- Hidden Depths: While almost everyone at the cast party is revealed to have a previously undiscussed hobby (e.g. Amanda skateboarding, Scott performing hatha yoga), Brigette's hobby of dirt-biking through extreme terrain even surprised her husband and kids.
- Not Me This Time: Subverted. All of the injuries are seemingly stand alone, coincidental ones that have nothing to do with Murphy's Law. As Milo expresses relief in being this trope, a flashback shows that all of the injuries are a part of a set of Disaster Dominoes. Sure enough, it started with Milo.
- Unwitting Instigator of Doom: Milo unknowingly starts the chain of events that leads to practically everyone (himself included) being injured.
