- The Power of Friendship: First appearance of the Double Soul mechanic from Battle Network 4. With Roll Soul, Mega Man according to Lan and Shade Man, gains increased hit points and can recover them.
- Real Men Wear Pink: Literally. MegaMan fusing with Roll produces Roll Soul, which is MegaMan with Roll's pink armor and red boots.
