During a trip to Yoka (where Lan wants to soak in the onset), Bubble Man returns for revenge.

  • Continuity Nod: Bubble Man wanting revenge is a reference to Lan and Mega Man foiling his water flowing plan from two episodes ago.
  • Heart Is an Awesome Power: Bubble Man decides to straight up challenge Mega Man after his failed attempts at bombing him. He comes with an armor made of bubbles. Mega Man is dismissive asking what kind of armor bubbles could make. He shoots Bubble Man with his buster only to see the armor regenerate. Unfortunately for him, the bubble armor doesn't stand up to Metal Man's punches.
  • Hoist by His Own Petard: Every time Bubble Man tries to attack Mega Man during Mega Man's battle against Metal Man, they unknowingly send his traps back to him. The first time Bubble tries this, the impact from Metal Man's missiles blow the bubble back to him, Bubble Man is able to deter it back only for Lan to use a Wind chip, blowing it back to Bubble Man and getting exploded by the mine inside. Later, he tries to blow another bubble only to get attacked by the fish missile inside. He tries to disguise himself as Rush to get near Mega Man with a dynamite bone. Mega Man tells him not to come near so as not to get injured. Bubble Man complies and leaves the dynamite next to Mega Man. As Mega Man kicks away Metal Man's missiles, he unknowingly kicks the dynamite next to Bubble Man.
  • Mythology Gag: Bubble Man's bubble armor functions much like the Bubble Wrap chip from the games. Easy to attack, but repairs itself, making the wearer near invincible.
  • Running Gag: Every time Mega Man or Metal Man send one of Bubble Man's traps back to him, Lan and Tamako are drenched by the nearest water source.
