- Headbutting Heroes: Lan and Mega Man's bickering throughout the episode presents the real conflict and causes their Cross Fusion to fall apart. At the end of the episode, Mr. Famous tells them Cross Fusion relies on them working in sync.
- Jerkass Has a Point: Lan is right to tell off Mega Man for telling him he received a Net Saver message in front of his classmates.
- Not-So-Harmless Villain: Bubble Man reveals his plan to change the city's water flow will cause toilets to erupt water. Lan remarks something like that is kind of scary.
