Recap / Lazy Town S 3 E 2 The Greatest Gift

Go To

Everyone in LazyTown seems to be up to something, and Robbie Rotten wants to figure out what. While spying on the residents, he discovers they're all invited to Ziggy's surprise birthday party, including Robbie himself, who's won over with the promise of cake. Meanwhile, Stingy is agonizing over having to give something to Ziggy for his birthday.

Sportacus tells him it's the thought that counts; the gift could be something big or small—which makes Stingy decide to give him something so small it's invisible. On Ziggy's birthday the cast gives him presents, but when Stingy brings an empty box, everyone learns that imagination is the greatest gift of all.

Robbie: I bring cookies and he brings NOTHING?
  • No Antagonist: despite stealing back the gift and mocking the others at the very end, Robbie doesn’t do any villainess schemes in this episode. The episode instead focuses on Stingy attempting not to give Ziggy a present.
  • Toilet Humor: Robbie gives Ziggy a bag of cookies as a birthday gift. He then tells Ziggy that they may give him a little gas and a fart sound is heard in the background.
