Wally's days starts with him getting his foot stuck in the inkwell. Removing it, he sees a book about bad omens next to him. He finds out that whoever steps into a puddle of black ink will be haunted by misfortunes all day.
Wally comes out of his house and sees Dokko running. He warns the scientist that he shouldn't start doing something new on Monday. Dokko shrugs it off in belief that omens are unscientific, but immediately crashes into a tree. Later, Chiko appears riding a scooter. Wally and Dokko ask him to stop since he has a number 13 on it - an unlucky number. Chiko does not listen to them and goes down the hill at high speed. Dokko's towel falls on his face, crashes into his friends, not able to see anything.
Suddenly, Rosa appears with a bucket. Wally is terrified because seeing a girl with an empty bucket is a very bad omen. He, Dokko and Chiko hide in his house to Rosa's confusion. She thinks her friends are playing hide and seek, but after seeing that Wally got a black eye, demands an explanation. She's told what happened to the three during the day and show her the book. Rosa angrily tells them that her bucket is full of candies, calls the book stupid nonsense, and throws it on the floor. Chiko sneezes from the dust that has risen and starts a chain leading to the destruction of Wally's house.
Tropes:
- 13 Is Unlucky: Wally and Dokko notice the number 13 on Chiko's bike and realizing that it won't end well, try to stop him. Indeed, Chiko's ride ends in a disaster for all three of them.
- 2D Visuals, 3D Effects: When Dokko runs around Wally's house, 3D graphics are used.
- Closet Shuffle: When trying to hide from Rosa, Chiko shuts himself in the closet.
- Disaster Dominoes: After Rosa throws the book on the floor, the dust causes Chiko to sneeze, launching a chain reaction that destroys Wally's house.
- Knight's Armor Hideout: Wally hides from Rosa in the knight's armor he keeps around.
- Superstition Episode: Wally reads up all about bad omens in his book, almost all of which turn out to be true. However, Russian version was also supposed to leave probability of all the bad omens as ambiguously false, since Rosa also points out in her rant that Wally confused what foot he woke up from, as that was very important on whether or not will the omen work, and that the episode took place on Sunday instead of Monday, as Dokko thought.
- Watch Out for That Tree!: Dokko decides to do some jogging, but is distracted by a conversation with Wally and crashes into a tree.
