The Swordsman of the Currents makes a splash again!

Tassel: (sobbing) My friends, I am currently very sad!
Touma obtained a new power, Dragonic Knight, and defeated Calibur.
However, Kento was consumed by the power of darkness and vanished!
Calibur also finished creating the giant book that connects to great power!
This crisis is never-ending...

Calibur was able to open a book-shaped portal to Wonder World, but Touma gained a new power allowing him to take him on. However, Kento has vanished into the darkness. As such, the other swordsmen must carry their fallen ally's spirit into battle to save the world.

Episode Tropes:

  • Big Damn Heroes: Rintaro arrives just in time with Lion DaiSenki in tow to help fight the Megid.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle: As with Touma an episode earlier, Rintaro gets a chance to shine and beat the three Megid generals into the ground. And in the case of Storious, a well deserved mauling, once he changes forms.
  • Dual Wielding: Touma does it again this time, using Kaenken Rekka and Raimeiken Ikazuchi to fight Calibur and the Megid. It's surprisingly effective, given that Dragon Alangina is theoretically less powerful than Crimson Dragon or Dragonic Knight.
  • Evil Gloating: Storious engages in some gloating multiple times through the episode, prime example being when he uses a combination of sound and light to disorientate Daishinji as they fight.
  • Me's a Crowd: Storious makes two copies of himself to fight with Daishinji and countered by him also making two copies of himself with Kobuta Wonder Ride Book.
  • Not Quite Dead: After seemingly being destroyed by Saber in the previous episode, Calibur revives himself via Kurayami.
  • Shut Up, Hannibal!: Storious indulges in some ominous gloating while fighting Daishinji, who just tells him to stop talking so much. Also, Calibur tries to pulls this on Touma, which only works to make him angrier.
