Summary
Daiji defeated Kagero and awakened as Kamen Rider Holy Live. However, Ikki and Sakura learn of Vail's ominous prophecy that the more the devils are defeated, the closer Giff's revival comes.The siblings go to Yukimi for comfort, knowing the truth about her relationship with their father and together they have a moment of peace. It's soon disrupted by Olteca's next move...
Tropes
- Attack! Attack! Attack!: Olteca's usually impeccable control melts away when Holy Live keeps on shrugging off his attacks, causing him to get caught up in a blind fury. His inability to have a thought process outside of stringing together attacks and screaming in rage makes his defeat particularly ignoble. To rub salt in the wound even further, Vail abandons him again after scoffing at how useless Olteca is.
- Curb-Stomp Battle:
- Olteca as Demons gets completely demolished by Holy Live. The only hit he lands is a No-Sell and even a Triple Genomix can't land a single hit.
- Rampaging Jack Revice easily steamrolls Daiji and Sakura later on, keeping them from directly engaging either Olteca or Giff.
- Human Sacrifice: Aside from a couple of captives turned into Gifftarians, Olteca is also shown offering the rest of his captives to Giff's statue, who promptly absorbs them through its Combat Tentacles.
- Internal Reveal:
- Yukimi reveals to her children that she was aware of Genta's past as a Kamen Rider, apologizing for keeping them in the dark to keep them happy.
- Ikki, Daiji, and Yukimi learn of Weekend's existence, and of Masumi Karizaki's survival by extension.
- Vail reveals to the Igarashis that every demon they defeat brings Giff one step closer to reviving.
- No-Sell: Holy Live stands and lets Olteca land a punch on him. Not only does it do nothing, Daiji turns his head against Olteca's fist to look him in the eye before flooring him with an identical punch.
- Pet the Dog: Vice is unsure whether he can join Daiji and Sakura in embracing Yukimi, but she invites him to and he gladly obliges.
- The Reveal: The Ushijimas are revealed not to be a family at all, merely three Weekend operatives posing as one in order to keep an eye on the Igarashi family and Fenix.
- Wham Shot: Giff's statue disappearing into thin air after absorbing a few hapless Fenix researchers.
- You Have Outlived Your Usefulness: Olteca displays a case of Genre Savviness by bringing this trope up while talking to Akaishi after being defeated by Holy Live and abandoned by Vail.
