Batman and Booster Gold have to resolve a temporal disturbance by themselves.
Tropes:
- Clock Roaches: A time fissure results in the release of what Booster Gold calls "antibodies", flying manta-like creatures that essentially pop up wherever time is disrupted and "fix the problem" by killing everything in sight.
- The Greatest Story Never Told: Batman gets a chance to see Booster performing much more competently than usual and develops some respect for him, only for the events to be wiped from his timestream.
- Obfuscating Stupidity: Caught outside the time stream with Booster, Batman sees firsthand that Booster takes seriously his job guarding the time stream, and does it well, and that his Dumb Blonde shtick is only partially an act.
- Status Quo Is God: Booster drops Batman out of his temporal bubble knowing Batman will forget the entire adventure and go back to having zero respect for him.
- Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: Booster doesn't like being bat-lectured any more than Bats likes putting up with someone he considers unfit.
