Space Cabbie is moping over the ads from his rival, Roxy Rocket. But soon he gets the fare of a lifetime: Darkseid, lord of Apokolips. His diligence to doing his job and making sure the big D gets the receipt for his trip leads the Cabbie to discover they're torturing Superman. The Cabbie gets caught, only for Darkseid to send his minion home in the cab instead. Realizing said minion is supposed to do away with him, the Cabbie convinces him to go to a different planet to finish him off. It turns out to be Earth, where the League is waiting. They race back to rescue Superman. The League offers Cabbie a lift but he declines, saying his Jack can make the cab spaceworthy again. Unfortunately, the damage is too much for Jack and Cabbie is forced to call Roxy Rocket for a ride.
And her next pickup is a "... Mr. Dark Seed?"
