5 years after Hero and Smurfette's wedding, Smurfette wants to have a child, but Hero isn't sure that he wants to go through that again. When Smurfette says that she's determined to have a child, they visit Mother Nature, who after examining their case grants them a fertility blessing, which results in Smurfette becoming pregnant. The rest of the story chronicles the period of Smurfette's pregnancy, leading up to the birth of their child Miracle.
