15 years after their wedding, Hero and Wonder decide that they're going to have a child. After getting Papa Smurf's permission, they visit Mother Nature, who after examining their case grants them a fertility blessing, which results in Wonder becoming pregnant. The rest of the story chronicles the period of Wonder's pregnancy, leading up to the birth of their child Saviour.
