Chinese episode title: "愿望之神" ("Yuanwang Zhi Shen")
English episode title: "Genie in a Bottle" (Lookus's English dub), "God of Desire" (translation of Chinese name)

Doctor H. wishes on an anthropomorphic bottle genie to be married to his crush Miss Peach, but goes through all three of the wishes he was given when the wishes' side-effects give him more than he bargained for.

"Genie in a Bottle" contains the following tropes:

  • Arson, Murder, and Jaywalking: Doctor H.'s initial wish of being married to Miss Peach is ruined when he realizes he's been spending less time with the Supermen, causing them to become bullies and criminals just to fend for themselves. Doctor H. rectifies this with his second wish, but he still has to deal with an incurable disease that he almost dies from, which he also rectifies through his third and final wish, where he makes himself and Miss Peach live to be senior citizens. What breaks Doctor H. to the point of pleading for everything to go back to normal? He doesn't find the elderly Miss Peach to be as adorable as how she originally was.
  • Be Careful What You Wish For: Doctor H. gets some side-effects thrown into his wishes since his original wish was made with too little effort - first, the Supermen become less well-behaved due to Doctor H. neglecting to take care of them; then, he catches an incurable disease and almost dies from it; and finally, he realizes that Miss Peach isn't as cute when she's a senior citizen.
  • Boomerang Comeback: Doctor H., frustrated that not even a bottle will leave him alone after an incident earlier, tries to throw it out of his sight. Every time he does so, it comes back and hits him.
  • Continuity Nod: Big M. confuses the bottle genie for the wishing wood from Season 1 episode 35.
  • Formula-Breaking Episode: This episode has absolutely zero focus on the Supermen fighting monsters as usual, instead being about Doctor H. wishing on a genie to be married to his crush.
  • Genie in a Bottle: It's literally the title of the episode (in English), for one. Doctor H. wishes on a genie to be married to Miss Peach. This is a less traditional example as, in this case, the genie is a bottle.
  • Grow Old with Me: Doctor H. wishes for him and Miss Peach to live to be 100 years old, on top of the two still being married to each other.
  • Hairstyle Inertia: The elderly Doctor H. and Miss Peach's hairstyles, apart from being gray from old age, are exactly the same as their normal counterparts.
  • Incurable Cough of Death: When Doctor H. is inflicted with an incurable disease, he coughs up blood onto a tissue.
  • Scratchy-Voiced Senior: Yes and no, at least for the English version of the episode. On one hand, elderly Miss Peach's voice does sound scratchy, but on the other hand Doctor H. retains his younger self's voice.
  • Three Wishes: The bottle genie grants three wishes to anybody who summons him.
  • Wasteful Wishing: Big M. tests the bottle genie by wishing for enough money to crush him and Little M., wishes the money away only for both of them to wind up poor, and uses the third and final wish to revert him and Little M. back to normal. Then he realizes he just used up all his wishes and throws the bottle outside, where it hits Doctor H. who makes his wish on it.
  • Wish Upon a Shooting Star: In the title card, Doctor H. wishes on a shooting star for Miss Peach to be with him. He gets a stone statue of her dropped on him instead.
