Tensions arise onboard the ship carrying Hari Seldon's followers to Terminus. Meanwhile the Emperors try to determine whether Anacreon or Thespin had anything to do with the destruction of the Star Bridge.
- Colony Ship: The slow ship carrying the Terminus colonists appears to be made of shipping containers, is big enough that a swimming pool makes up only a small area of the ship, and has simulation chambers so the colonists can practice for life on their dangerous new world.
- Escape Pod: Raych shoves Gaal into an escape pod and ejects her after he murders Hari.
- Orbital Bombardment: After failing to get answers from their ambassadors,
- Public Execution: Brother Day hangs the delegations from Anacreon and Thespin by throwing them off a roof with ropes around their necks. But leaves the ambassadors alive to tell their people how they failed.
- Robotic Reveal: Demerzel gets hit on the shoulder by a bit of falling debris, exposing the mechanical bits under her skin.
