With the Firehouse being sprayed for bugs, Egon is forced to move in with Eduardo. The arrangement is complicated with a troll on the loose in the city and Eduardo's brother (who despises him for being a Ghostbuster) responding as part of the NYPD.

- Big Brother Bully: Carl and Eduardo don't get along since Carl despises his brother for being an embarrassment to the Rivera family. This gets even worse when he learns his brother is a Ghostbuster who he has kicked out.
- Bittersweet Ending: After the Ghostbusters save his son, Carl refuses to thank Eduardo, and expects to tell Kevin that the Ghostbusters are not heroes. However, Eduardo refuses to do so and tells his nephew he is proud to be a Ghosterbuster. He also decides not hide anymore.
- Call-Back: "Rage" reveals that Eduardo's fear of the government and the cops is due to his brother being a police officer.
- Hero-Worshipper: It's revealed that Kevin, Eduardo's nephew loves the Ghostbusters much to Carl's annoyance.
- My God, What Have I Done?: Kevin accidentally lets loose the troll when tampering with the ghost trap.
- Papa Wolf: Both Carl and Eduardo exhibits this, when Kevin is in danger.
- Police Are Useless: Carl and the police not only fail to stop the Trolls but made it even worse till their is an entire army of them.
- Tempting Fate: Eduardo brags about how much fun it is for him to live alone and asks what more could he want. Gilligan Cut to Eduardo being volunteered to house Egon for two days.
