Be Young Again! Apply it and get Baby Skin (Literally)

A sinister salesman who can apparently grant people's deepest desires arrives in New York City. However, it soon becomes apparent that each of the granted wishes cause more harm than good, particularly for Eduardo, who becomes trapped in Kylie's pampered cat Pagan after wishing she would respect him more.

Watch on the official Ghostbusters YouTube channel: here.

The episode has the following tropes:

  • Be Careful What You Wish For: What the episode centers around on (to the point that this is even its title). All of Duophanes's victims asks for something and Duophanes just twists them to his liking.
    • The Conductor wishes for peace and quiet. His mouth disappears from his face.
    • A woman wishes to be younger, but ends up turning into a baby.
    • A single guy wishes to have his rival's face, but grows another head.
    • A bicyclist wants to go back to his roots (be close with his family), but turns into a tree.
    • Eduardo wants to be respected by Kylie like her cat Pagan, but gets transferred into the cat.
    • A security guard wants to be "made out of money" (to be rich), only to actually turn into money.
    • A grandfather wants the good old days. His grandchildren's pets turn into dinosaurs.
    • A boy's wish results in his toy turning into a giant robot.
    • Garrett is bewitched into almost wishing to be part of the NBA (a premiere college's basketball team). Roland warns Garrett that it'll probably mean turning into a basketball.
    • Then, it's Roland's turn and is almost coerced into wishing to be in the Ivy league. Kylie snaps him out by noting that he could be turned into an ivy plant.
    • Kylie almost wished to be "reunited" with her grandma Rose.
  • Get A Hold Of Yourself Man: Pagan (Eduardo) steps in to prevent the other Ghostbusters from getting their wishes granted.
  • Jerkass Ball: Kylie grasps this throughout the episode, with the second half showing her at her worst. Not only does Kylie continue to disrespect Eduardo, but after Eduardo is transferred into Pagan, she gives all credit to the cat rather than him.
  • Jerkass Genie: Duophanes plays this trope very straight, twisting innocent people's wishes for his sick amusement.
  • Laser-Guided Karma: After Eduardo and Pagan are separated, the former gets back at Kylie by telling the others that being inside Pagan allowed him to find out a lot of secrets about her. This spooks Kylie, who asks Eduardo of what secrets he knows about her. However, Eduardo refuses to tell Kylie and instead advise her to ask Pagan since he's the smart one, leaving Kylie extremely dumbfounded.
  • Logic Bomb: Eduardo thought of this to confuse Duophanes into revealing his true form, allowing his friends to trap him. By wishing that it would not grant this wish.
  • Reset Button: Roland thought of an idea to say his wish all of the events in this episode never happened. However, Garret points out that wish would probably and will erase them from existence.
  • You Do Not Want To Know: Garret invokes this on himself when he declares he doesn't want to think about what Eduardo wished for to end up in Kylie's cat.
