- Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: Sydney, a girl at Corleone, invites Chris to go to the arcade. This is actually a trap set up by Caruso to ambush him with paint balloons.
- From Bad to Worse:
- Chris is at his wits' end being picked on by Caruso and finally snaps, tossing a book at him. The book flies out of the window and hits a teacher's car, getting him suspended.
- Chris has it hard at Corleone, but he quickly finds out that Lamont-Sanford isn't much better.
- Metaphorgotten: When Chris pleads to his father about getting him transferred, Julius starts off with a powerful rhetorical question, asking Chris what would've happened had important historical figures decided to just quit. He quickly trails off into listing entertainers, food mascots, and fictional characters.
Julius, beginning his speech: "What if Jackie Robinson quit? What if George Washington Carver quit? What if Martin Luther King Jr. quit?"
Narrator!Chris: "When my father had a point to make, he always started off strong, but he never ended that way!"
Julius, 45 minutes later: "What if Colonel Sanders quit? What if Apollo Creed quit? What if Katherine Jackson quit making kids? They might be The Jackson 3! What if Kool from Kool & the Gang quit? You think they would've got a record contract if they were just called "The Gang"?"
- Wretched Hive: Lamont-Sanford Junior High is an absolute shithole.
- Yank the Dog's Chain: Sydney randomly greets Chris and sympathizes with his plight at Corleone, inviting him to the arcade to play Ms. Pac-Man. Of course, this turns out to be a trap set up by Caruso to pelt him with paint balloons.
