Edd gives Sarah a baby blue gymsock flower, causing her to develop a crush on him. She follows Edd around and interferes with the Eds' plans, and now Ed and Eddy must bring her and Jimmy back together.Tropes
- Abhorrent Admirer: Sarah ends up chasing Double D throughout the entire episode due to Double D handing her the flower, resulting in Edd's distress and Eddy and Ed's annoyance.
- Borrowed Catchphrase: Jimmy calls Eddy, "Dork!" at one point much like Kevin does.
- Food Porn: Although we don't get to see it baked, the Eds prepare an enormous pizza.
- Four-Leaf Clover: Eddy manages to find one at the start of the episode, but the events of the day cause him to dismiss the idea of the plant being a Good Luck Charm, prompting him to discard it. Jonny then finds it, and then a $20 bill immediately afterwards, much to the Eds' chagrin.
- Growling Gut: Ed hears a rumbling sound which he thinks is a monster from the depths of Hades. It turns out to be his stomach. At the end of the episode, Ed's gut growls again for the Iris Out.
- Impossible Leavening: While making pizza, Eddy, ignoring Edd's instructions for the proper amount, dumps in the whole container of yeast for the dough. The dough rises so much that Eddy's fist gets stuck in the dough when he tries to punch it down, and Ed has to bellyflop on it to do the job.
- Self-Deprecation: Although he seems to mean it as an airy observation, Ed is doubtful of his cooking skills.Eddy: Let's go to my place and make some pizza!Edd: I'll make the sauce.Ed: I'll get in the way and make a big mess.
- Wet Cement Gag: Done with papier-mache. The Eds are making a fake dinosaur skeleton when Sarah appears to woo Double-D. In the ensuing chaos, the papier-mache mix falls on Double-D, freezing him in place.
