This chapter contains examples of:

• The Bus Came Back: After being absent from the story for so long, Future Zethia returns to join the party under the name of Zena. In the Interludes, Emile also returns after having been absent since Chapter 11.
• Doesn't Trust Those Guys: Both Phares and Beren can see right through Harle's utter buttkissing, especially when it comes to the defense of Sol Alberia.
• Engineered Heroics: Emile has a group of bandits robbing stores in Sol Alberia while he and his soldiers swoop in to save the day. He's more mad that he didn't get to land the final blow.
• Heroic Sacrifice: The androids under Laxi's command push themselves through Harle's electric barrier to get their "Maestro" through, knowing full well doing so means they'll be fried beyond repair.
• If I Do Not Return: Leonidas tells Chelle about how during his last conversation with King Aurelius, before his possession by Morsayati, if anything should happen to him, he's to immediately go to Grams.
• Locked Out of the Loop: For all of Chelle's network of cats, not even she was aware of her own brother, Beren.
• Remember the New Guy?: Inverted with Emile. While it's one thing nobody knows about Beren due to being the kingdom's darkest secret, Emile is pissed that while the public were naming all the royal siblings, his name didn't come up at all.
• Super Mode: Laxi's Eden Mode makes its debut here, only unlocked when she and Mascula are working in full sync together.
• Villainous Rescue: Beren does this by absorbing Morsayati while he's in the process of transferring from Zethia to Euden. Happens again when Volk of all people saves the party from Beren wanting to test his new power on them.
• Wham Shot: The leader of the Agito is revealed and he is a darker, alternate version of Euden. The Interlude reveals his name is Nedrick.
