The Sulfa drug is completed and Ruri is healed, allowing her to tell Senku what she knows about Ishigami Village's history. Senku in turn tells them what he believes happened, and how the ISS's astronauts were involved in the creation of the village.

- Connected All Along: Senku's father Byakuya Ishigami was one of the original founders of Ishigami Village.
- Crazy-Prepared: Byakuya formulated the Hundred Tales and inserted several anecdotes to help his descendants survive and, one day, help Senku to revive humanity.
- Dramatic Irony: Kokuyo distrusting Senku and his group retroactively becomes this, as Senku is indeed one of the original founders' son.
- Origins Episode: This arc basically is the story of how Ishigami Village came to be.
- "Ray of Hope" Ending: Despite most of the ISS personnel eventually dying by the end of Ruri's narration, Byakuya completes the Hundred Tales and trusts Senku to use it judiciously.
